‘Ritas founder Kristin Klimas began her quest to develop the perfect margarita many years ago.  Tired of the sugary, tart and headache inducing mixes out there, she began to develop her own clean recipe with the perfect combo of organic citrus, homemade simple syrups and good tequila.  After being asked countless times to "please bring your margs!” to parties, Kristin  learned how to batch the fresh squeezed goodness and developed quite the cult following.   But every perfect margarita needs a perfect setting, and Kristin wanted to be able to drive that perfect setting directly to where it was needed.  So, like any completely sane person would do, she bought a funky old 1968 Scotty trailer to be transformed into a mobile margarita bar that dreams are made of. 

Rolling ‘Ritas officially began in the summer of 2020 when the world was on lock down and the desire to have a good time was in dire need.  It has now evolved into a full service dry hire mobile bar that takes any event to the next level.  

Kristin is a 15-year music industry event veteran.  She began her career at radio station WXRT as Director of Marketing + Events and curated VIP experiences at Lollapalooza and the like for 10+ years, moved onto the GRAMMYs to create high level live experiences for GRAMMY members and the Chicago music community for 6+ years, and is now at Pandora/SXM Media working with a team of industry trailblazers. Her love of the music industry  continues to flourish as she works full time at Pandora/SXM Media, while rolling lots of ‘ritas on the side. With an eye for design, a passion for vibe setting and the recipe for a killer marg, Rolling ‘Ritas is a total passion project for Kristin. 

Kristin lives in Indian Head Park with her husband Dan (aka Chief Taste Tester), her kids Charlie and CeCe (who are fully educated on how to properly squeeze a lime) and her sweet black lab Mavis.
